A UK citizen is someone who is legally recognised as a member of this
country.
Citizenship:
Is about giving people the knowledge and the skills that they need to be
active and responsible members of their local and national communities. Community Communities are different groups that people belong to. Can you think of some communities that you are part of?

Helping Others Helping can be more about giving time than money and it can involve thinking about big subjects like the environment, or helping just one person.Have you helped anyone today? It could be as simple as keeping your bedroom tidy or helping with the grocery shopping! You DecideSome people have to make decisions and set rules for communities. How would you do it? Decision-making can be difficult and complicated, often involving more than one person. Knowing who to talk to is an important first step in making decisions that affect your community.Be responsibleThinking and Sharing Members of a community should think about each other. Because we belong to many different communities, we sometimes have difficult choices to make.
