Our Trip to St. John's Museum in Warwick - December 2006 The children experienced a Victorian school where they had to behave very well for a strict teacher (Mrs Rouse) or else face the back straightener.
Then children visited the laundry where they had to make soap and help with a very strenuous washing regime.
The children also had the opportunity to look at two different types of dolls houses, one rich and one poor, as well as handle objects from houses from the past such as a bed warmer and a chamber pot!
